To love is to be vulnerable


To love is to be vulnerable  
⁻ ᴱᵃʳᵗʰ ᴿᵒᵇᵉʳᵗ

To truly hate someone  
We must have truly loved them first  
Before i thought that hate  
Is the opposite of love.

But i learn that hate and love  
Is just two extremes of the same thing  
We cannot truly love someone  
Without the vulnerability of hating them.

Because to love is to open our hearts  
And by opening it we become prone  
Prone to being hurted  
And prone to possibly hurting others.

If a friend to all is a friend to none  
Then a lover to all is a lover to noone  
You cannot love many people at one's  
You must sacrifice for the one you truly love.

As gibran said: do not love half lovers  
And so if you choose someone  
Make sure they are the only one  
Because love is all or nothing at all.

Never try to play love safely  
Because to love is to be vulnerable.
