To forgive  

⁻ ᴱᵃʳᵗʰ ᴿᵒᵇᵉʳᵗ

Before i thought  

That forgiving someone is foolish  

But then i realized  

That to forgive is to think.

You forgive not because you forget  

You forgive not because you're foolish  

You forgive not because you're gullible  

But you forgive because you think.

Why then think?  

Because when you think  

You'll realize that forgiveness  

Is something you do for yourself.

To forgive is to let go of the harm  

But not of the lesson  

To forgive is to let go of the hate  

But not of the memory.

To forgive is to remove the burden  

From your own self  

And to forgive is to be free  

Of all the negatives.

So don't forget  

To forgive.
